Feels like Spring...

Ria here with some inspiration to brighten up this yucky grey winter weather.

Today I am showing you one of the gorgeouss colouring pages of Emilie Jarridge or also known as the artist Sakuems.  This image is from the Fantasy Mix Advanced Digital Colouring book.
One of the benefits of having a digital colouring book is that, like digital images you can print it out at any size that you want and need.
As for me personally I love colouringbooks but I totally hate it that they are always HUGE as I get easily bored if I would have to start colouring on an a4 or A5 size image. So I printed mine out around 8 to 9 cm. width as that is my favourite size of images.
And I coloured her with alcohol markers and enhanced with pencils.

Well I am wishing for lovely spring weather to soon turn up, I know it is a little bit early but a girl can dream right hahahhha

Kelly Eden....

Ria here again with some colourfull inspiration...

For today's card I coloured up Kelly Eden Greyscale by Emily Luella at Crafts & Me... I coloured her with Alcohol markers and Enhanced with pencils... I used liquid pearls on her pearl hairpiece...I totally went stitchcrazy again on this card and I used a Dutch sentiment die... Added loads of pearls and flowers a piece of ribbon and lace and voila my card was done....

This is the colouring alone.

I hope that you liked my version of the  Kelly Eden stamp.

Hope your day is magical...

it is Ria here with a new card that I made with one of Sara Burrier's new stamps.
I coloured her with alcohol markers and enhanced with pencils, the white dots are made with a molotow marker.
I used an over the edge die with butterflies and added alot of stitching around the edges of the stamp/sentiment and paper.

I hope you enjoyed my inspiration for this week,

Ria here with a little inspiration on this dark and gloomy wednesday. Or is it only this way in the Netherlands? I hope not hahahaha poor us here then.

So today I would like to show you this gorgeouss Flora Luna stamp by Emily Luella.

This is a greyscale stamp so perfect if you don't have alot of time as the shades are already on the image and you do not have to think much about which or how many different colours you need to make the perfect skin tones.
I used one fleshtone alcohol marker for the skin tone and enhanced it with a  brown colouringpencil and odorless mineral spirit to blend it out, and create this skintone.
Hair is also one brown alcohol marker and a black colouring pencils.
Only for the clouds/background I used a blue alcohol marker but this time I used a purple, a dark blue and a moss green colouring pencil and blend it all out with the Odorless mineral spirit.
As you see I have gone Stitchcrazy again this time with the swirly stitch. It takes a bit of time to create it but I soo love it hahahaha hoping to turn you all into cardstitching maniacs....

Well I hope you enjoyed my Gloomy wednesday inspiration post and I hope it is better where you live.

Say hello to our new dt

Hello everyone,
Another year gone where does the time go, I think as we get older the time goes quicker, well it does for me anyway!!
We have some citing things happening this year at C & M but Mum's the word until nearer the time!

Today I want to introduce you to our new DT  Ria ZonneStraaltje

I was first drawn to Ria's work by her vibrancy of colours and the little white dot's on her creations, and now we are so lucky to have Ria on our team.

Below is a bio from Ria and then I hand over the post to Ria to show you her first creation on here.
Please show her some love xxxx

my name is Ria and I live in a small town in the Netherlands with my hubby and our english cocker spaniel called Seven. Seven is our only fid so I have plenty of time to play with my precious stamps and papers. My first love is doing anything Fantasy and then comes Cute. I used to sculpt dragons and fairies before I picked up colouring in 2007 but had to stop sculpting as my hands didn't wanted to do all the fine details anymore so had to search for a new therapy to relax and went back to something I did since kindergarten colouring...
One of the things to recognize my work by is.... I always draw 3 cute white spots on cheeks of my stamps if it is human, fae or animal it got to have my spots hahahaha another thing to recognize my work is the endless handstitching I do on my cards. As a card without stitching is like Icecream without the topping for me..... I hope I will do the beautifull stamps from Crafts and Me justice.

thank you Teresa and girls for the warm welcome to the team.

For my first card I picked this beautifull stamp from Emily Luella called Spring Faerie Greyscale.
I made a stair card and added loads of stitching around the borders of the papers and the Spring Faerie.
I do not use a sewing machine but do it all by hand. If it is for long straight lines I use a stainless steel ruler and a needle tool and then handstitch all the stitches. But like with the stamp I use swirly lines and you just pinch these with the needle tool wherever you want around the edges.

I coloured the Spring Faerie with alcohol markers and enhanced her with pencils and white molotow marker for the white dots.

I hope you enjoyed watching my first card for Crafts & Me.

new beginning, new stash

Hello everyone, Crafts and Me wishes you a very happy and creative 2017.

We are a little later than usually, but here is the new challenge for the month January. With January a new year begins with new opportunities and new chances. So this month's  theme will be "new stash". Maybe Santa got you some new crafting supplies for Christmas or maybe you bought a new image in the shop or you are trying out a new technique, well anything " NEW" will be ok for entering this challenge, easy isn't it.
For each challenge you may enter UNLIMITED entries per person if using a Crafts and Me image and 1 entry for any other image. You can combine our challenge with as many other challenges as you like.
Here some inspiration by our DT members:

Saskia using an image by Morgan Fitzsimons, a new artist at Crafts and Me.

Miranda using a new image by Sara Burrier.

I'm still having trouble adding a inlinkz tool, o pot your creation in an album in our facebookgroup, or add a link to your blog in the comments.

Hope you will all join us in this challenge.
Looking forward seeing your creation.
